Connecting Upstate South Carolina Harpists

September 2025 - Mountain Laurel
Dear Upstate SC Chapter Members:
You are invited to participate in a joint venture between the Upstate South Carolina and newly formed Western North Carolina chapters of the American Harp Society. We will be performing two concerts of music selected by each chapter bookended by pieces that everyone will play.
The "all-play" pieces will be:
The Water is Wide, arranged by Sharon Thormahlen and Anna Thormahlen Jenkins
Scottish Suite: Music of Spey and Willafjord, arranged by Laura Zaerr
Literally everyone can participate--no matter your current level of playing. If you are interested in participating, please email John Wickey.
